What should be paid attention to when installing the door closer?

1. Read the installation manual before installation;

2. Install according to the steps and requirements of the manual, and choose the installation size of the installation template or installation drawing we provide you according to the direction of opening the door;

3. After the installation is completed, check whether the fixing screws are fastened, and there must be no looseness or infirmity;

4. Open the door to the maximum opening position, and check whether the hinged arm of the door closer collides with or rubs against the door or door frame;

5. All the speed and force settings of the door closer have been set in the normal state before leaving the factory. If you need to adjust, please adjust the speed control valve and door closing force as required until you are satisfied;

6. Note: All speed regulating valves must not withdraw from (or be higher than) the main body surface of the door closer, so as to prevent the valve from falling off under pressure, causing hydraulic oil to spray out, causing damage to the door closer and making it unable to use normally;

7. Suggestion: After the newly installed door closer is used for about 7 to 10 days, re-tighten all the screws, and if possible, ask a professional installer to install it.
